Hi All,

I am new to the MAXIMO technology and the question below might appear very amateur for many of you experts.

Whenever we create a new Activity in Problems/Incidents application, in the Activities description, the system automatically copies the Summary we have entered for the Problem. I want to know where do we set this functionality. Are we using any domain or class and for which attribute?

The problem I am actually facing is, when I am creating a new activity in Incidents application, the system copies the summary I have provided in Incidents tab to the Description field of the new record in Activities tab. When I click new row again, same things happens again in Incidents application. But, in the Problems application, the scenario is a little different. When I create a new activity for the first time in Problems application, the system copies the summary I have provided in Problems tab to the Description field of the new record in Activities tab. So far so good. Now, if I change the Description as "XYZ" for say the 1st record and click on New Row, the 2nd record(new record) has the Description as "XYZ" instead of the Summary that I had provided in Problems tab.

I would be grateful to you if you can throw light on how to solve the issue.

And by the way... the textbox for Activities Description in Activities tab is editable.
