Question on PM Frequency

At our company, our vehicle maintenance department would like to have PM work orders generated Quarterly.
BUT - instead of the 4th Quarterly, they would like to have a work order for an Annual PM on that vehicle instead.

Example:
Quarterly PM to process Work Order in January, April and July
Skip the Quarterly PM in October - instead, they would like an Annual PM to process in October.

How is this frequency accomplished?

Angie,

You need to set up 2 Job Plans. 1 Quarterly (JP1) and 1 for the Annual (JP2).
Create a new PM with a frequency of quarterly.
On the Job Plan Sequence Tab set the following

JP1 sequence = 1
JP2 sequence = 4

Every 1st, 2nd and 3rd time your PM generates, JP1 will generate. Every 4th time JP2 will generate.
