Doing some Google searching and found these forums. Looks like a great place to get answers to some questions!

We are getting ready to migrate from an older CMMS to Maximo. In our current system we can establish a PM that covers multiple pieces of equipment(assets that are identical). Any parts or labor costs associated with this PM are distributed evenly across all of the assets included in the PM work order. We have several other facilities that have already made this migration and they are issuing individual PM's for each asset which results in a HUGE number of work orders. The cost of the effort required to track all of the different work orders is higher than the benefit obtained from having the labor and parts exactly distributed among the assets. Is there a way to have a single PM work order generate that has multiple assets assigned to it and have the labor and materials evently distributed across the assets?

I believe this is possible in Maximo 7 but not in Maximo 6.
