Hi All,

I am working on a field class which i have attached to a field that is used only for calculation purpose. This field is not in the front end. So if any value is set on this field after a calculation is done then i want the field class attached to this field to fire. I realised that action or validate methods fire only if the value is changed from the front end. Is there any way in which we can force the action method of the filed class to fire whenever the value is set on a field..?

Any help is appreciated...

Hello All,

Got it resolved...

problem was that the same field on which the field class was acting was getting set in multiple places and in one place with 11L, so action and validation was suppressed...

And my assumption that field class on a field which is not shown on the screen will not trigger the fld class was wrong... It does fire... Smiley.. That was learning..!!!

Thanks
