Maximo 6.2.4 MEA Problem with processing receipts from external system

We are having problems with MEA - in particular processing receipts that come back from our external system - the purchase reqs are intiated in Maximo then sent off, then it  returns the p.o. and then the receipts. The particular purchase reqs that we are having trouble with are those that are charged to a work order. The purchase orders are processed okay but when the receipt comes back it errors out with the following error message:

Error occurred while processing MATRECTRANS Error is: Location does not exist in the site ......

Any ideas anyone - thanks.

seems to be quite obvious.. location doesnt exist...

check the location of workorder and what the location of in the xml..
would be good if you can post some data of workorder and the relevant error xml..
