Hi Guys,
How are you all?

A little bit on my background. I'm a Application Server admin. I have been working with WebSphere, WebLogic and Tomcat. I do the performance monitoring, upgrades, admin activities, etc...

In my company we are using Maximo6 and now willing to upgrade to 6.2. How do I do it?

I have some ideas on what should be done. But, not sure if I'm right(doubts). So any input is appreciated.

Are there ant database level changes from 6 --> 6.2? I know that there are changes at the database level from 5 --> 6. And we would require to use the Upgrade Utility for this.

I was thinking of installing the 6.2 binaries directly over the 6 installation folder, rebuild the EAR and deploy it. Is this correct?
