Hello All,

I am deploying EAR file on maximo 7 and everything goes fine during deployment and starting the server.

But as soon as I try to access login page, I get error message "Class Not Found Exception" for psdi.webclient.servlet.WebClientServlet.class  Cry

When I redeploy the Old EAR file, it works fine. The new EAR has only 2 new classes which are customized and not at all related to login.

I have tried to rebuild EAR around 10 times now. But its not helping.

Using WAS 6.1 App Server.

Any pointers will be really helpful.  Roll Eyes

Thanks,
Coolbugz.  Huh

It generally happens when the classes compiled are not of same version as that are being used in the EAR file or specified by the Maximo JVM version. Please check your JVM version and which version is supported by Maximo.

for Maximo 6 version JVM version supported is 1.4 .

Hi Ethen,

My old ear is built on the same machine where I build the new one. Also the classes are built in same version of Java.

Any other inputs from your end on this?  Cool

I would say this is a build issue. Can you unzip the ear and see if the offending class is there?

have you made all the necessary files.
like every object needs 8 files..

object
objectRemote
objectSet
objectSetRemore
stubs and skeletons for above...

can you make sure if all the options are made..
