Hello,

I'm hoping to get some input as to how this can be done (if at all possible). I have 2 custom fields created in the WO application in Maximo 7. Both fields currently reference seperate ALN domains to populate their fields from a select list of values. We now plan to generate Work Orders automatically from PMs. How do I create these same custom fields in the PM application, so that the values selected carry over to the generated Work Order. For example, PM #123 is used to automatically create WO #123 and custom fields, "test1" with value A and "test2" with value B from PM #123 carry over to the corresponding custom fields in the created WO #123?
I've tried associating these custom fields in the PM with the same ALN domains referenced by the custom fields in the WO. However, the selected values do not copy over to the generated WO. Only the original OOB fields do. Please advise.

This can be done using crossover domain or custom class.. if the relationship is one to one crossover domain will be a better option..

Worked like a charm. I guess I didn't fully understand how to use the Crossover domain initially which is why I was having issues. But after a little bit more digging, per your advise, I was able to get it to work.

Thanks Ethen
