PM Job Plan Sequencing/PM Hierarchies

Folks,

While I am aware of how to set up both a job plan sequence and a pm hierarchy separately, is it possible to combine the two?

For example, I have an asset I need to set up a minor maintenance for each year and a major maintenance every three years, which is ok, but I would also like to set this up in such a way that a series of other assets also generate WOs every three years, i.e. along with the major maintenance but not with the minor maintenance. At present when I attempt this all of the additional WOs are generated along with the minor maintenance as well. Is it possible to set this up?

We run Maximo 6.2.4.

Set PM up with frequency unit of years.

Job Plan sequence 1 contains your minor maintenance

Job Plan sequence 3 contains your major maintenance and only shows up every three years.

On Job Plan 3, add work assets from the work assets tab.
