I am trying to change the status of the parent ticket (Originator) from the Followup ticket(child ticket) by using the query (parameter as :RELATEDRECORD.RELATEDRECORD.TICKET.status) using actions (setvalue ='inprogress').The status also changed but the action is not applied.It just applied the value.so it will not change the status from SLAHOLD to inprogress in background when I view the history of the ticket. How can the  follow-up ticket change the status of its originating ticket.

while viewing the database table the status got updated in ticket table but not in tkstatus table.How to do the change status action of the originator ticket from followup ticket.

Hi,

I have done a similar task for Psrent SR status chenge acc to follow up WO.

You can do it using a domain for classstructure or also a relationship
