Hi,

Currently working on Maximo upgrade from Maximo 5.2 to Maximo 7.1.1.5. I have upgraded the Maximo 5.2 DB to Maximo 7.1.1.5 DB. The version for maximo 5.2 is V520-14 and the version of maximo 7.1.1.5 is V7115-149. I have connected the Maximo 6 application to the database after upgrading from Maximo 5.2 to Maximo 6.2.4. and was able to login into the application successfully. But after upgrading the database from Maximo 6.2.4 to Maximo 7.1.1.5, when I tried to login into the Maixmo 7.1 application after connecting to the database. But when I try to login, I was getting error:
"User ID and password combination not valid. Please try again."

When I looked into the log of MXSERVER we find an error:
"BMXAA6696E - The required field validation in the MBO failed for object MAXSESSION and attribute MAXSESSIONUID."

When I check into the database, in the maxsession table I have seen that a new session is created for the database connection but no session is created for the login.

I am trying to trace the problem why this problem is coming.

If anyone has any idea then please help!!!!

Thanks,
Adi

for all the users delete the TIMEZONE form their record as upgrade put those values in the field but they don't exist in value list in maximo 7 , you can try for one of the user , hope it will work , faced a similar error recently .
