Hi All,

I have customized the status dialog as same as the invoice application's status dialog.
Now i am unable to suppress the dialog once i reach the final status.(i.e) if i try
to change the status of the record which has got "CANCEL" as the current status,
i should get an error message saying "Status Change is not possible for the selected record"
and the status dialog should not pop up.Rather am able to see the status dialog and am
not able to see the error message also . Is there any way to supress the status change
dialogue box once i reach the last status.

Regards
Vijet

In the bean class of your customized status dialog you just throw an exception in the initialize() method if the current record has "CANCEL" as its status. This will suppress the dialog and show you the error message you throw in the exception.
