upgradation from maximo 5.2 to 7.1

hi,
i want to upgrade maximo 5.2 to 7.1.Can any one assist me how i can do this.Is there any proper guide and patches that can help me to resolve these issues .Thanks

Hi,

you must switch first to the latest version 6 and then you can upgrade to 7. And if you use BeaWebLogic you must switch to Websphere. Bea would not supported further.

Hello, I am currently doing the same transition, form 5.2 to 7.1
and i have all the utilities to go from 5.2 to 6, but I what momento do I have to upgrade the Weblogic application?

Is it better to switch to Websphere?

If so, does the maximo launchpad comes with websphere?

I would really appreciate the help
