Anyone see this before.  I'm sure it's a simple fix.

I'm installing MAM on a stand alone virtual machine with the following config:
- Oracle 10g R2
- Windows 2003 R2
- Fixed IP
- DEP turned on only for Windows Programs

Websphere installed without any problems (including RAC).  All IBM processes are running (inc node agent).  But then I started launchpad.exe and tried to click on Maximo Asset Manager installation.  Nothing happens.  Does anyone have any ideas?

What set of executables you are using for MAM install? it is possible that you have to place the MAM folder inside the other main folder where you have got 3 other sub-folders.

Same here, running windows server 2003, sql 2005 with remote desktop setup, firewall disabled.  Even tried clicking on the install.exe inside the folder for mam and get error no payload.  All zip file unzipped to C:\7 and these are the folders:
C1E1ZML, CZ2N2ML, CZ17SML, CZ25KML, CZ4R2ML, CZ17TML, CZ197ML, CZ19CML.  I run the launchpad from cmd prompt, launchpad opens, click on install product.  Websphere and DE installs ok along with TIV but then click on install Maximo Asset Management v7.1 and nothing happens?  Whats up?  Myself, v6 was easier to install and configure...  Anyone have a step by step for windows?? Thanks

After installing the middleware, close the launchpad and open a cmd prompt. Type in the following to install the base services.

C:\7\install\MAM\Install\new\install.exe -DPLATFORMONLY=yes -DLOADSAMPDATA=yes

Select the name of the folder you extracted the files to from the DVD's or the downloaded files from Ibm. This will install the bases services to drive C. Once you go through the process of entering in the information on each screen, removing the Programs Files from any screen and the deploy machine screen starts, do not click the mouse or mess with anything. This could cause the installer to terminate early and not install the complete program. I learned this by doing. All this of course depends on the server being setup properly with remote access and proper user id's and passwords.
