When creating a Job Plan I've discovered that when writing a sequence under Job Plan Tasks that you cannot create the description too long or else it will not copy to the work order when generating one.  I see that there is a Long Description icon next to the primary description field.  If I have a task with a long description, should I put it in that long description field?  Will the entire task description copy to a work order if I do?

Long description should carry over, you should also check the field length between job plans and work orders to ensure they are the same, it sounds like there is an issue with field length

I usually put a short task identifier and “see long desc”. You can also use an attachment for long descriptions and instruction. Plus, don’t forget you can apply multiple tasks, each task description or step will be printed on work order.
