Good morning, everyone.  This is my first post and I'd first like to say thanks for providing this service!

I scoured through the postings and found a few similar to this, but wasn't quite sure if they applied...

What we're looking to do (we're on Maximo 7.1, by the way) is set all the fields of a particular application (SR, specifically) to read-only if the record is related to another record (incident, specifically).

Any suggestions or advice is appreciated!

Thanks!

If I am not wrong u want to set the whole MBO as readonly based on some condition..
there something like setFlag() method in which you can pass the complete MBO instead of passing MBO's attributes one by one..

Ethen,

Thanks for the reply.  I actually came up with a solution for this a while back and neglected to post a followup... apologies.  I think we've decided to use conditional security settings to revoke the SAVE signature option in the SR and/or Incident applications.  I've tested this and initially, it seems to work pretty well.

Thanks again!
