I have two fields in Work Orders....Equipment Priority and Task Effect.  Equipment priority is taken from the asset application.  Task Effect is entered by the using.  How do I make it so the work order priority field auto calculates based on the equipment priority and task effect?

For instance, Equipment Priority = 5 and Task Effect = C, so Work order priority, based on the table we have, would equal 3.

Consider creating a custom table called WOPRIORITY. This would store the matrix of Equipment priority, Task Effect, & WO priority. Then associate the WO priority field with a crossover domain referring to the custom table.

Thanks for your reply.  I was hoping to one day receive one.  I am not 100% sure I am following.  So I should create a custom table domain called WOPRIORITY.  What would I select for the objects and would I need a where claus??  Also, can you give an example how a crossover domain works?  I am pretty much only familiar with the basic domains.  Thanks.
