Micrsoft Excel and the MEA

Can anyone tell me exactly how to configure the MEA to port information from Microsoft Excel into Maximo?  Specifically the Maximo Purchasing Order application?  I've never done this before!

Please help!

Hi,

Maximo can get data from xml,flatfile and interface tables from the default internal adapter... I dont think it will be possible to port data from excel.. You will have to use your own adapter for this.. I have not worked on any other adapter so cant help you much. But yes you get a download option in the application to download the details to excel file...But that will be only to get the list of all the data from the list page.
