Hi,
Does anyone know if an Asbestos Survey can be implimented into Maximo? If so, any information on this would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Paul,

Idealy we would like Maximo to house a new Asbestos Survey that my company will be undertaking soon. This will include detailed information about the level of asbestos (if any) in each specific location of our building along with photographs of the abestos etc. This im sure, from my understanding, is possible to incorporate into Maximo, once an accurate location hierachy has been data loaded into Maximo. However, the asbestos survey is to be carried out by an external contractor and any information gathered by them will be logged in a software called MultiBase. So i guess the question i should be asking is; Is there a way to export the survey information from one software (MultiBase) to an Excell data load, and then from there into Maximo? Is there a specific format of data load i would need to do this?
Also, any information you may have on an Asbestos Survey being populated into a Maximo Asset Managment Software and how it is used, how it fuctions etc would be extreamly helpful.

Sorry for all the questions. My company and myself are new users to the Maximo world and would like to utilise it to its full potential. Therefore, alot of questions are asked of me for which my superiors need/want answers.
