Dear All,

When I am developing the reports using Actuate eReport Designer Pro, it seems that the connection information e.g. username, password, is embeded to the report itself and the connection could only works through the service defined in Net Manager as "maximo" so that when I need to update my password, all of the reports migrated to the iServer return the error invalid username/password. It only works when I update the password in the properties of the connections. It seems that there are methods make use of the configutration file in the eReport Designer Pro or the iServer. But it seems that these do not work for me. The attached MaximoConfig.xml is the configuration I used in the ERD PRO, and the mroConnect.xml is the configuration file I used in the iServer to connect to the database server maxdb01, sid MAXTST, port 1521, username maximo, password maximo. Is there anything that I made wrong? All suggestions are approeciated. Thanks a lot.

I am using Maximo v6.2.7, Actuate eRerport Designer v8, Oracle 10g
