Is there a configuration I can set that automatically collapses a new row so you only see the summary line and not the details. If I choose collapse in App designer it removes the details permanently. I want them available to see if I click the arrow but I want it to default to closed.

didnt get you..
you mean to say that when you add a new row you want it to be collapsed or when a records is fetched and you go to a perticular tab then any rows added previously should be collapsed.

When you press the new row button it shows the summary line and the details. I want it to show the summary line and have the details hidden (collapsed) by default.
