I'm new on Maximo, started to work with the version 7.1 about 2 months ago and I'm here to improve my knowledges on this SW.
I'm working in an IBM Partner in Campinas, Brazil and hope here I'll can get answers to my doubts.

Shane Mann, located in Australia working for Boeing. Responsible for the installation/configuration of maximo 4.1.1 and 6.2.
Installation is on windows with oracle clustering and some customisations eg: integration with HP Openview trouble ticket service.

Hello, my name is Darius, the company i am working for in the UK recently started to use Maximo in order to control machine downtime and preventive maintenance more efficiently. I have been chosen to train on Maximo and become the administrator of the system and at the minute do not know alot about it. I have registered with this forum to gain help from people who seem to have a huge amount of experience. I am looking forward to learning more about Maximo and meeting people who also are new to the system and need help and advice. Thanks for reading |

Joined the group 5 min ago...
Well I am farhan.
I am a Pakistani, living in UAE.
I have BE (Civil) and MS (IT).
I have almost 9 yrs experience with Maximo, on Functional side, out of which 8 yrs i have worked as an implementation consultant in Paksistan and UAE.
July 08, I joined Petrofac (Dubai Petroluem) as Sr. Solution Analyst, working Offshore.

I am from Scotland and I currently work for Balfour Beatty on the British Energy/EDF contract using maximo 5.2 as a day to day tool producing PPM's and project work.
Just looking for a better knowlage of the system.

Please explain Diffrent roles and its responsibilities? In perticular What a Maximo developer does?
Also please explain Steps involed from Installaton to Deployment of maximo Role wise.
