Problem with the new record button

Hi all,

First of all i would like to thank all the active members of the site for their support.herez one more for which i need support from you guys..

I have created a custom Application in Maximo 7(Material Staging).It is a power application with STAGING as its main object.Now when the application is configured completely I am facing the following problem.

1.When i click a new record button from the List tab,it does't automatically go to the main tab.On the other hand when i go to the main tab n click the new record button im able to get a new record page.
2.when i save a particular record,it gets successfully saved but im unable to delete the saved record through the select action option(Delete MATSTG)though i get the message that the record was successfully deleted.

Please suggest me where the problem might be as i have configured similar such custom application which ve't shown me such errors.

its hard to debug it from here..
can you post the sequence of events event sequence and method sequence.

and if you have some custom method for it then whats there in the custom method.

Since this being a custom application,it is done by the standard Application creation process.As of now there are't any java level customizations done to any attributes or at any level for this application.I am facing this problem at the screen design level.While other custom applications are working fine,im unable to figure out where the prob could be..
