Crystal report Integration with Maximo v6.2.1, which one is best way??

Hi friends,

i have told to do crystal report 2008 V12.2.6 integration with Maximo v6.2.1

now i have two options to integrate it with maximo

1)through External report integration
2) by deploying bocrystal.war file (internal)

which one is best and feasible way to integrate
i want to know which way is better
performance wise,
parameter based report,
faster,
easy to integrate,

if any one has experience or have any idea about it please share
